No one wants to teach a new guy a repetitive game that hasn’t changed for years. It is a pain in the ass. I coached aMp and it was so annoying in the beginning even though he was pretty good. Pub stomping and actually playing in a league are so far away from each other that I don’t blame anyone for not wanting to explain a new player how to properly play the game. The last time someone tried to play a bit differently was aN back in the days and even then they just made minor changes.

Good players just want to play with good players because it’s fucking fun to just play together and compete without having to teach a guy how to properly play. 5-7 years ago it was a completely different story. The YeS-League had 3 divisions which covered every skill level, this is something that will never be rebuild in the Haxball Community, because there are just too many Veterans who are just fucking gods as well.
