The latest rumor, shared by industry insider HipHopGamer, suggests that GTA 6 will feature an enhanced version of PSSR, specifically a "2.0" update, that will enable "mind-blowing" image reconstruction. According to HipHopGamer, Rockstar is currently developing this improved upscaling technique, with the first version of PSSR already being used in current-gen titles. The insider also pointed out that the PS5 Pro’s current iteration of PSSR has encountered issues, particularly with image quality artifacts in games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and the Silent Hill 2 remake, issues that Sony is reportedly working to address.
