First of all I want to thank GNM for kindly fairplaying the lag goal at 4:50

I'm making this report to get a neutral decision from admins, I won't mind if that means repeating the game, I just feel like we (aN and GNM) are both very biased and both of course want the best result for their teams. I'll try to make it as short as possible.

We agreed to play the postponed match today, all good..

We started the game with a doubt that whiplash might lag, we had a couple of pauses and gnm fairplayed a goal in the 1st half, halftime comes it's 0-0 and we said we might replay the full game at another time since whip is lagging and we had a couple of pauses for that reason...

2nd half starts, there was 1 more pause at 0-0 and then we scored 2 goals, leading 2-0 until last 2 minutes when we conceded another lag goal, but we didnt ask for fp and instead just carried on with the match, until I paused it one last time at 5:59 in 2nd half when it was 2-1 and they just said we play another time and that its unplayable like this, so they left the room...

Now, I know it's my responsibility to have a sub if one of my players can't carry on, but I basically have 4 stable players in terms of ping and activity therefore I never had the need to have backup players before, this situation doesn't change it in my eyes.

When it comes to them leaving the room, I am of strong belief that they just did it because of the result not being in their favour, but that is exactly the same reason that I cannot just let this slip and replay the match - I think the game went well in the 2nd half and we scored 2 perfectly normal goals, then I paused the game with 1 minute to go and they left the room, it felt as if they waited for another pause to happen so they can use it as an excuse to leave the game, they had nothing to lose and hoped I would fairplay it.

As it's a very hard decision I'm willing to make it public and await admins' decision on this matter.

We knew from the beginning of the match that Whiplash has serious lag issues that wont let the game go smoothly. jasko has no subtitute for Whiplash, so either they play with him or get a defloss, so of course we agreed to play like this, but is it logical that we have to suffer because he plays in this condition? A player that cant play a minute without a pause shouldn't play, you can watch the replay for yourself and see that almost everytime we attacked they paused the match. If he lags and they have no sub, why should they pause and ruin the game for us? Anyway, we scored a goal, even though it was obvious that he lagged during the match, specifically the goal is really debatable if you look at his movement and ping around the time of the goal. Nevertheless we agreed to FP this one.
The half continues without and improvement. Halftime arrives, I said that we cant play like this. Maybe it was unprofessional from me, but I really didn't know what to do. I couldn't have continue to play like this, maybe I should've told them to never pause again and make them responsible for playing with a lagging player, but I'm too nice.
What happens next is I agreed to continue with maximum one more pause (really I didn't know what else I can do) of course they paused more than this amount and even scored almost immediately after a pause, but I continued. When it got to 2-1 (excluding our fairplay goal) and we got to the attack in the last minutes of the game, they paused again, even though I told them we can't continue to play like this. It just isn't fair that we couldnt play without interruption because the team against us played with a lagging player when were trying to concentrate really hard and tie the game. And again, maybe this is unprofessional, but since when this game is about mind games? If it was about mind games - maybe I lost for being too nice, for letting them dictate how the match will go, and I know for a fact many captains who wouldn't agree to play this match like I did... But for me this game should be about THE GAME ITSELF, and honestly, in this match we didn't get to play at all. I exited because in halftime both teams said that we will reschedule the game if the pauses continue, which is problematic by the rules but what else can we do? Did we have to take defwin against them because they had only 3 players that could actually play? Of course not, so rescheduling the game did seem like the most logical choice for me.
I know it has nothing to do with it but srsly we didn't get to play normal matches since our match against seeders, we give our best to be the most active team (which I believe we are) and this is what we get? We are here every matchday just to be wildcarded again and again and again, just to wait for a player 30 min during a LIVE STREAM, and now this happened. Ye, I admit, we lost our cool we try to give it our best everytime and instead we have to deal with these things instead of playing haxball... really fun experience for us.

You don't have to experience anything at all, lol. I appreciate your patience during the game and I am sorry for that inconvenience even though it was out of my control. First of all, the goal that u fairplayed it was due to my lag and i even gave u a screenshot of it during the game, u saw my graph. And, you agreed to give a fp after that ss and i appreciate that. However, you are still talking about that it might have been a lie. If you didn't believe me at first, you wouldn't have given me a fair play, so it is pointless to talk about this.

Secondly, the game was not fun for you, but not only for you it was also frustrating for me and my team as well. Even though we were talking about postponing to a later date, everyone was willing to play including your players, so that's what we did, we kept playing. However, when u conceded 2 goals, things started to get absurd. You scored one more goal, although i lagged during that position too but still didn't say anything cuz i thought it would be too much to ask from you, and then we did another pause because jasko thought I was lagging but I wasn't.

After all these, the most disturbing thing is that u DIDN'T leave the room. You BANNED yourself so that we wouldn't be able to ask u to come back. We were kind of agreed on postponing the game to a later date because the game was 0-0. But then things changed, and we were 1 minute away from the end, then you left. I don't blame you for anything nor your team, I just think that it is absurd to leave the game like that and expect to play on a later date because we paused too many times. It is in the nature of the game. I wasn't trying to get in your head and make u mad or anything, I was lagging, and of freaking course, I'm gonna stop the game at a proper time. That's just your own paranoia, because you think that you guys are the victims since you were losing 2-1.

Note for archNemeses (and other teams playing in FeedMe league): we strongly recommend teams to make sure that they have enough players in their lineups in order to avoid this kind of incidents to occur in future.

Cant you at least modify the rules for the future? This decision means I can pause as much as i want in any situation without permission in a match. Captains will be clueless otherwise...

The thing is we were both aware of the situation before we both decided to carry on with 2nd half (and you had the chance to accept my offer at half time to just play it another day) after that it's too late to just leave the game and think the offer still stands. That being said we had 2 pauses in 6 minutes of 2nd half which shouldn't be affecting your gameplay much. But I do agree that something might be done to prevent similar situations in the future, something a bit more strict for the lagging team, but at the same time not too strict to make them lose the match, but it's an online game, people playing from all over Europe, grey areas will always exist.

How could I know that if we leave at halftime we wouldn't just simply deflost? Without proper rules everything can be done. This is also why me getting a warning is bullshit, but whatever

No you can't do that.

Rule 1.7 states "Also abusive usage of the Pause-function e.g goal situations will not be allowed."

While it does say goal situations that is only an example. Any abusive use of pause function will not be allowed (although the exact punishment is not specified). In this case I guess admins thought it did not reach the level of abusive use of pause function. Still I think that captains have some responsibility not to be picking players who lag - I bet if aN have this problem again with only 4 players and someone lagging then they would likely get punished but seems like this is a one-off incident so far.

The rules on pauses are a bit vague ofc but I'm not sure how to make it nicer. We can't put a limit on pauses or anything I don't think. Do you have any ideas?

I can see your frustrations - I would have been raging too in your position but I guess you have to try to stay calm and finish the match regardless


Also PH have to take defwin vs Disneylanders I guess. Deadline has passed and they haven't been online at all to organise match
