FM WorldCup2022 Cup
Posted: November 16th, 2022, 6:55 pmI want to host a World Cup 2022 Cup Funcup. So every Team which signs up plays as one nation of the upcoming World Cup (2022).
The difference to usual Funcups is you don't wear your clubs colours but play as the nation you have chosen, so use the names of the players of the current nation squads and change the flag to your country.
For the organization in the cup, you only communicate with the Supporters, which means it remains secret which team plays as what nation till the cup has ended. We are asking you NOT to reveal your secret identities or the nation you are playing for, until the cup has ended. We will resolve which team played for which country after the final game. (Seriously don't reaveal it to anyone, this will screw up the whole idea behind this cup
)
Also after you apply with your team please write to me on TS/Discord or PM in Forum so you can choose your national for this Funcup and I will inform you if it still available or not (Don't forget only teams from 2022 World Cup)

Other Teams: These Teams will have to have a squad of at least 6 persons and write your players in your post.
Players can be added at any time. A Player who played before in a Team and his Team is already disqualified, isn't allowed to take part at the tournament anymore.
Allowed Participants:
FM Teams (+6 players preferably)
FM New Teams (+6 players preferably)
Teams from other Leagues (+6 players preferably)
Randomly created ones (+6 players preferably)
Schedule / Seeding:
Fixtures gonna be released at the same day some minutes before the Fun Cup starts. / We will see
Format:
Groupstage followed by Finalstage
We will try to have groups with 4 teams in each. Maximum amount of teams on waiting list will be always 3. A 4th team on the waiting list will give us the opportunity to create another Group. The maximum number of Teams will be 32.
For instance 11 Participants: 2 Groups with 4 Teams each and 3 Teams on the Waiting List
2 Groups: First two will advane to finalstage (4/8 )
3 Groups: First two + 2 best 3rd ranked teams will advance to finalstage (8/12)
4 Groups: First two will advance to finalstage (8/16)
5 Groups: First three + best 4th ranked team will advance to finalstage (16/20)
6 Groups: First two + 4 best 3rd ranked teams will advance to finalstage (16/24)
7 Groups: First two + 2 best 3rd ranked teams will advance to finalstage (16/28)
8 Groups: First two
Mode: 4on4
Stadium: Big
Goal Limit: None
Time Limit: 2x7 (2x10 Final)
Overtime: None (1x5 mins with Goal limit 1 in Final Stages)
Substitutions: After a goal, after half time or both captains agree while game is paused

I hope admins can do a special tag for this event like it was in 2016 for EUROCUP.

- The check-in begins NOW. Deadline for the check-in is 19st November (19:30CET) .
- At Fun Cup day each captain of every team will have to deliver their results to one of the listed Organisers / Supporters above.
- Rec is needed
- Fun Cup organisators will contact the Team Captains and will deliver a roomlink. Final game might be streamed.
- All players are allowed to take part BUT banned players are excluded from the Cup.
- YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CHEAT[/b].
