Punaball - a TurboSliders Mod

Have you heard of Punaball? TurboSliders? Probably not.
TurboSliders is a top-down multi-player car racing game I used to play way before Haxball. It was quite popular back in the early 00's. And it has a pretty cool football mod for it It's quite a skillful game if you ask me, check out some pretty sweet plays here:

1v1 is boring there, 3v3 is too crowded, 2v2 provides the perfect balance of teamwork and fast paced action both in offense and defense.

Besides, I would consider this to have a much, much steeper learning curve than Haxball. Most obvious reasons are that the whole thing is much faster paced - with a powerful enough push the ball can cross the whole field in a second. And you can not reverse your movement direction so easily, so all movements have to be carefully aimed and timed, the controls of the little car take some time to master as well.
