Top 10 War movies:
1) Apocalypse Now/Vietnam (if you haven't seen this or you don't like it, you're a faggot)
2) Full Metal Jacket/Vietnam (if you haven't seen this or you don't like it, you're a faggot)
3) Braveheart/13th c Scotland (if you haven't seen this or you don't like it, you're a faggot)
4) Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb/Cold War (if you haven't seen this or don't like it, you're an idiot)
5) The Great Escape/WWII (not really about war, but I'm making the list, so SHHUT UP YOU CUNT) (epic old film, must see)
6) The Deer Hunter/Vietnam (epic, a bit too long, but still fucking epic)
7) Das Boot/WWII (G-R-E-A-T)
8) Restrepo/War on Terror (the best documentary about war you'll ever see in your miserable life)
9) Der Untergang/WWII (a surprisingly objective German film about WWII, that meme with the ranting Hitler was ripped off from here)
10) Platoon/Vietnam
Bonus: I Remember Everything, Richard/WWII/Cold War (an old Latvian film, so you better start studying Latvian, if you want to see it, and if you don't, WHY THE FUCK WHERE YOU REding ALL OF THIS)

Top 5 comedies:

1) The Big Lebowski (WATCH IT)
2) Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (best movie in existence, so mentioning it twice)
3) Office Space
4) Schindler's List° The Blues Brothers
5) In Bruges

Top 5 classics:
1) The Godfather trilogy
2) A Clockwork Orange
3) 2001: A Space Odyssey
4) Fight Club
5) Goodfellas

Top 5 under-the-radar movies:
1) Animal Kingdom (2010) (a weird Aussie movie, sucked me right in though)
2) The Man from Earth (2007) (the first movie I've seen that is entirely based on dialogue, very interesting)
3) You Don't Know Jack (2010) (Al Pacino in a TV movie about Dr. Death, had very low expectations before watching it mainly due to it being a TV movie with a 140-year-old Al Pacino in it, turned out to be great)
4) Mr. Nobody (2009) (blew my mind)
5) The Guard (2011) ([robably the first Irish movie I've seen, barely understoof what they were saying ffs - much better than expected)

Top 5 relatively recent movies:
1) Drive (2011) (<3)
2) The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) (<3)
3) The Fighter (2010) (effortless acting by Christian Bale, probably because he didn't have to act that much)
4) 127 hours (2010) (nh)
5) Inception (

This is literally the only movie on my imdb rating list that's rated 1/10. Braindead conspiracy nutters. \the authors should be lined up and shot tbh. Waste of space.
