Technical Terms

I'll try and cover all the lingo I know of, if there's any i've missed or anything you think should be on here and isn't then let me know... some of them are obvious ones :)

Image - my bad
nw - no worries
afk - away from keyboard
wb - wall bounce
gg - good game

heart - determination to get the ball against the odds, sometimes preventing (or causing) a goal.

blocking - moving your avatar infront of an opposition player to stop them from moving where they want, useful for creating passing lanes or shooting oppurtunites if done properly.

snipe - an accurate long range shot, usually through a very small gap... looks very nice.

cherry picking - basically goal hanging, making sure you're level or just past the last defender as an attacker so you can pick up anything that run's lose and score.

parking the bus/ bussing - putting as many players as you can infront of the goal to stop the opposition from scoring, very frustrating for attackers!

rushing - moving straight towards the player fast with the ball in an attempt to catch them off-guard.

swarming/flocking - this is when everyone on your team chases the ball all over the pitch, doesn't usually work as a good player will just pass round the swarm/flock of players.

split - this is a shot or pass that goes right through two players on the opposite side, very difficult to time but very rewarding.

ns = nice shot
wso = winner stays on
baiting = bringing a player of the opposition where you want them to go
juking/stalling = extraordinary maneuvers that provoke the opponent making them move where they think you will shoot, leaving open space for a pass/shot through where they were before

Also please use this term mockingly when you play against sero and he makes a huge fail.
