Fukin essay time

tl;dr - Basically big/big easy for the league.

I used to be really on the side of big but after playing big easy it really is just better. Whole point is that no1 rly cares about FM anymore coz its just YeS 2.0, although that would be implying that it was better which it really isn't.

There isn't any big easy leagues around that would give western European players decent ping as far as I know (I could be wrong) so if you want to expand the league then making it unique.

If you have good players then Big Easy is the better format as tactically it has a superior metagame and it just demands more from the individual.

It would mean we would suck less at the CC.

It would stop having to use an artificial rule (3 man def) which has to be taught to upcoming players.

It's a nice change to keep everyone interested, we've had 3 ssns of 4v4 big and we had 3 of 3v3 before that, seems like the natural progression to me.

GK's now aren't disabled priks and would have to actually do something (unless ur hannes and u stay behind halfway fukin el)

GOTW wud be better coz bere passing and shit.

Most of us suck too much to play Big Easy well, and it then descends into a horrible spam match.

You would have to change something that works and re-educate everyone on how to play.

What would we do for the cup?

What would we do for the 4v4 Champions League?

It would be really fuckin hard to find fs as YeS probs wouldn't change to Big Easy.

We also suck really bad.

We're pretty crap.

It would stop YeS teams from just migrating (or is that a positive?)



I realise this ain't all of the for/against but I'm bare lazy and i wna watch the football.

Don't judge if you haven't played Big Easy much or at all, I was on the side of Big until I actually started to play Big Easy properly, although I do admit it is only fun if you have good players.

I like big easy more than big because I can do more of what you want and you can have different styles of play on big easy. While on big the only way to play that format is a 3 man triangle while the GK don't have much to do apart from kicking the ball forward and saving shots.

Czech leeg is big easy, I only just found out like last week. Ruska is the other one so dis would make us more unique for sure.
I was gonna bring dis up to admins cos a few of us have said we prefer it (SOME FOR FUCKING AGES I TELL YOU).

Its a tough one...
But the biggest cons i can see is like you mentioned the CL qualifications (big) and the fact that finding friendly matches would be hard (but then again it might force FM teams to play against each other more often)

Personally i think big easy is really nice but its just horrible playing with noobs (like myself)

4v4 CL isn't really an against when pretty much most of FM plays in YeS anyway so there won't really be any issue about the 4v4 CL since top 3 and cup winner are likely to be Arriba and some foreign teams from YeS.

i always prefered big more but i've changed my mind big ez is just much more fun (if everyone knows how to play it)

Big Easy.

For me, 4v4 big has gotten stale and i'm sure i'm not the only one who thinks this. I feel a change is neccesary to freshen the league up and maybe renew interest in the league and the game. There's barely any FM rooms up anymore and barely any pre and post match game chat.

Plus big easy is more fun and free flowing. Re-eduicating people for big easy wont be as much of a problem because for a start theres no rule to how many people can defend and when they can and can't. I also feel making this league big easy will make this more unique as I doubt hardly anyone here and in YeS plays in the Czech and Russian leagues apart from their neighbouring countries and residents of said countries. Only problem I find with changing to big easy is that I see many teams leaving, so FM will either have to shrink or we will have to recruit a hell of a lot of new teams.

First of all. That a 3 def rule is needed only proves that something is wrong.

I think that 2 things are wrong:
- The goals are too small
- The ball is too big.

So the solutions is tbh to make the ball smaller and the goals bigger(big easy). People are too good at defending these days, and a smaller ball is much easier to do fast tricks with etc. Without a 3 def rule u have much more freedoom. There arent too many ways to play with 3 def, without the rule its much easier to have nice tactics.

Has to be big easy, surely. I just cannot into 3-def big any more, it's so dull and frustrating.

Going from current poll results we'd probably just end up switching the formats of the league & cup, so the league would be big easy and the cup would be big 3-man(would give those aiming for CL more reason to try and progress further as they'll get better quality practice matches for it).

Unless anyone is man enough to try 5v5 huge for the cup? I've been saying for ages it's the way forward but no one listens.

To be fair the place went shit when TS came about. Back in the day everyone was on the chatbox and you couldn't keep up with what was said, you go away for an hour and its disappeared from the chat. Then TS slowly came onto FM and people split talking between TS and the chatbox. Then when everyone got on it then they all just stuck to their own teams TS channels and FM died.
