Like I said, I really think we should have had a public poll on the idea Ghost suggested but I guess this is my suggestion.

1. League Format is 4v4

2. Roster sizes of 6-12

3. No draft - People pick and choose their teams

4. Still make a captain application thread. Reason I say this is because we don't want a captain to sign up his or her team then leave or become inactive

5. No being forced to 'cut the fat' after the season ends. This works for a draft but it seems pointless with the suggestion I am raising

League:

1. People can trade and switch around clubs as much as they want and sign free agents during pre season and during the first 2 gameweeks.

2. After Gameweek 2, no player can be traded from another club, although free agents can still be signed.

3. During the midpoint, a window is open where players can trade between teams again. This would last for 4 gameweeks

4. After that it closes, again free agents can still be signed and cut

I'd like to note that a player can leave the club at any point, but he cant be signed by another team until the window opens. This would stop people violating the rules. A player that just signs up without a current team though, can be picked up at any point


Other things we could include in the league:

1. A 1v1 ladder. This would be a flexible structure where players can challenge each other whenever they like

2. A 3v3 cup with the best teams entering the 3v3 CL

3. Fun cup. Teams play in teams of 1-4 playing custom maps such as Airhockey, Ice Hockey and Haxketball

Like I said in the other thread I'd just carry with the cup until the new site is up then restart season 4 then. I'd keep the current teams as they are though, stick with these teams through the cup then have one final optional trim of teams after the cup. Once were on the new site I'd then open up the free agency so players can start getting signed for season 4. That way players training doesn't go to waste because it'll predominantly be the same team as now. We need progression or we'll end up moving backwards.

I think it was Girgensons once said we were in one of the better positions because we're English speaking, but we need to help ourselves to get up there with the big leagues.

I certainly agree with the suggestion C! YeS is a successful league, and the suggestions you've offered, seem to be along the same lines as YeS and how it's structured. Breaking up a team with chemistry at each season end, is another negative to be honest. Hopefully admins can pick up on this as Ovo has already mentioned.

Am I the only one that likes the draft system?¿
It just needs an improvement. Making the players signing in the draft tell their real identity/past identities. And if it's found out that they lie there just ban them... As easy as that you can avoid draft cheating and keep the draft and the trades, that's what makes this league different.
Also penalyzing captains cheating in trades with inactive players and all that stuff and don't letting those trades happen...

That's just over complicating it and the leagues got to a point where it's too big to have a draft. FM won't move forward if it carries on with the draft.

I understand cutting the roster of squads at the end of the season when FM used to be small.

But allowing a maximum roster of 12 and at the end of the season telling captains to cut the squad size back to 4 is ridiculous. All the fun and good times you had with those players, inevitably you have to cut them just because of the way the league is being run.

The trimming of players is for the draft, so if there isn't a draft, there won't be trimming of players.
