Anti 4v4 Collective

It is what it says on the tin.

Have to say i never warmed to big easy either - maybe because as gk in 3v3, i wasn't used to the size of the larger goal so tended to make stupid errors based on that - or we can say more stupid errors than usual :)

Nope, they'll learn the hard way by forfeiting the game should they continue to abuse it.

4v4 Big, 7 minute halves, 3 man defence rule. Simples.

Practice is all you need guys. No need for constant practice. opc and I play rarely between matchdays and we still have the understanding that has led to us only conceding in 1 game this season together. We don't play every day, you just need to understand what each other will do.

Bullshit. One of the best on the site at Defensive Corners, you are. Don't even bother replying to this either. Just read and learn.

id much rather big easy tbh, ill find 4v4 on big gets crowded and the only goals tends to be flukey, i dont see how the 3 man defence rule is going to be enforced is it the fourth man cant help defend or must he stay in opposition half?

Well, it works perfectly in the German and French leagues mate. Flukey goals tend to be 20% of the case while the rest are normally great skill or poor defensive play.

As for the forward, it's rarely a rule broken. He tends to know he's a forward and is in the habit of never defending. Simple as that.

4v4 Big is certainly tested and it's certainly a success.

It takes a lot more anticipation than it does in 3v3 anyways.

Though, they are way less influential towards the team's performance.

You can't get away with rushing and spamming. Instead you have to get your positioning right every time and be a lot more conservative. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea but I prefer gking in 4s to 3s.

I actually prefer gking in 4v4. I find in 3v3 you are more of a sweeper keeper, whereas in 4v4 you are nore of a traditional gk who doesnt move that far from his goal and that suits my playing style I guess.

Yes I agree cath + ed the challenge as a 4v4 gk is alot higher than 3v3
I just prefer gking in 3's more since you are more involved in the attack, you can come up to support the attack and in 4v4 it really isn't possible since you have to stay in your half for most of the game - same to C

The GK is the most important player in 4on4. He's the first to defend and usually the first player to get the ball when the attack has failed and your team is trying to maintain posession.

I don't remember seeing a good team that plays with a static GK - it's a waste of a player. So I can't see how you're not involved in the attack. Yes, you don't get to make the shot on goal, but in that respect there's pretty much no difference between a defender/GK in 3on3 or a GK in 4on4 (given that the teams play with no rotation).

ITS ALL ABOUT ROTAATIONNN ITS ALL ABOUT ROTAATIONNN ITS ALL ABOUT ROTAATIONNN

Then the defensive unit is much faster at doing their job - which is taking the possession back from your opponents - when they rotate.

GKERS ARE THE COMMANDING DEF/MIDFIELDER!
