Saturdays and Tuesdays are both Football and drinking days, so you'll find quite a lot of people unavailable because of that for those days. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday will probably be the best.

Set match-days is a bit dumb anyway.

As long as Sunday games are consistent then other games can be played spontaneously when people happen to be online.

It's silly picking Wednesdays because things happen during the week which could mean people are free one week but then not the other.
