Aquopolis future..

It is what it says on the tin.

Aquopolis future..

Postby echsehh » August 18th, 2012, 1:53 pm

The future of aquopolis is not looking very bright.

the core team has either left the team or quitted the game or is being inactive (schnuppel, joe, ace)

I tried to get several new people but the numbers are limited as I wanted to sign only players I find it worth playing with..

The newly signed members have been showing a lot of inactivity which caused us another defloss as I was the only one being online

I dont know how this is gonna work out.. if anyone wants to take over the team he can point it out as I see no reason to keep this alive anymore

I'm sure you can find some players, Menso was in the same situation and made some promising signings and his team is back up and running.

I think if you looked more, and built relationship with the players than just have players that turn up on match nights, you can do it.

Please just don't make Rachel Captain.

GI Joehans to Division 1.

Aquo to Div 2.

Get someone active and fanatic to manage it and everything should be fine.

Also - Rachel, will you blow my whistle?

Anyone who is interested in taking over captaincy at Aquopolis should PM an admin detailing why you should get the role and what your plans are to revive the team.

One of my principes is that I'm totally against impersonation or any type of cheating.

I also played a lot of 4v4's on 3on3 cause the other team just had 3 players.

So keep your baseless accusations of this kind for yourself

I would be happy if anyone would seriously consider to revive the team, but I'm definitely out of it, as all my beloved haxball contacts are out anyways.

The problem you're having is you're basing signings on activity AND ability. Base it just on activity. That's what Shock's done with Cathletico, signing only people who are going to be active. Although this isn't great for winning, it ensures the team doesn't die.

Where is the fun to play with beginners?

I want to earn some wins and improve myself, I can't be arsed to explain some people the game

For me the fun is playing the game, unfortunately for most around here it's winning. Shame tbh.

People play for their own reasons, it's not your place to judge them because they play for a reason different to your own

You're right, it's absolutely not the place of a person to have an opinion...
