Feed Me Haxball

Following the conclusion to this season, would any captains be interested in a daily/every couple of days session where for an hour or two each day 6-8pm GMT perhaps?) a room is opened up, not placed in the room list and a link goes up on here?

All comers are welcome, the room gets recorded and saved on 'tube each day and is placed in a central thread? For the unknown players who drop by, it would be a lot easier for them to show a captain what they're capable of and scouting could become a little bit easier with captains not having to plum for players completely in the dark. For some of the newer players, it would hopefully give them a good idea of the speed of play in here compared to public. It also stops this place going dormant for the period between seasons.

If captains couldn't give the foggiest of a shite then this idea will die, but just putting the idea out there.

Not putting it on the room list defeats its purpose.

Teamless players are more likely to join the room if it says 'FM Trials' or w/e than if we don't have it on the roomlist and just link it on here.

Yeah, I suggested it this way as you're guaranteed FM members of those linked to FM members playing and you're less likely to have a room clogged with people lacking the interest in joining a team. Fair point though, publicity isn't a bad thing.

No idea yet, that will be worked out if captains show any interest in this. If they're not bothered about it, then there's not much use in having trials.

Random players aren't up to standard for Div 1 or 2 in all honesty though, captains will just get foriegn imports.

Therefore reserve league, amirite?

Have the trial room called 'FM Trials', and a locked room next to it saying something like 'PW on fm-haxball.co.uk'

They might be some pro players you dont know and beside the randomers you can tell them whether they passed or failed.

Why would one person help out every other captain? Surely they would just hold trial rooms for their own team if any?
