1. If mlf was higher, I would score.
2. If mlf was lower, Tjerna would score even more comfortably.
3. If mlf hadn't rushed towards me, it would've been a classic 2v1.

1. he could have saved it too... its not big easy
2. why would he be lower?
3. not really, jonnys blocking the pass & mlf would have tjerna covered if he didnt commit too early

This is after I've already slowed down after seeing that mlf is rushing towards me (which means I need to make a short pass up):

1. If ml was higher, he would not save my shot. I would score past him.
3. Jonny isn't blocking the pass, he's just barely in the way, so I can't make a direct pass, but there's still a clear passing line to Tjerna. If mlf hadn't rushed towards me, I'd give a full power pass to Tjerna in a different angle. Once he'd receive it, there would most likely be enough space to give a steep-angle pass back to me, if necessary.

actually, if mlf hanged back for maybe a 2nd there and while still covering near post, waited till you passed up then closed the ball down and covered the angle with joni easily able to keep going right would cover any pass and wouldnt result in a goal

tbf I've saved similar things in the past by doing what fap said.

Yup, that would be the best mlf could do in that situation, but I'm not convinced about the part where jonny easily blocks any passes. I'm pretty sure I'd receive a pass back from Tjerna, the only question is about how much space I'd have. And EVEN if I'd be squeezed/pushed by mlf and/or jonni, making me unable to turn etc. the attack still wouldn't be over.

i was just saying it isnt really a 'classic 2v1' where ofc i would expect a goal
jonnys blocking enough so u cant pass directly to tjerna and mlf would have more than enough time to get across to him if u passed
