I think that there's actually a very simple solution against macros, or at least make them much less effective. Haxball's owner should just limit the speed of the tappings himself. I know that hosts can do that themselves with an in-game command but most hosts just don't do that. He should do a test by simply tapping as fast as he can (with one finger only). If he wants a bit more accurate result he can ask a couple people to do that and pick the fastest result. And that should be the limit.
