As this is a COMMUNITY as I've been told in the past, I believe that EVERYONE should be able to see this:

First round of the season and there's been a defwin already, there's a bunch of players who are missing and will miss a lot of the games over the summer, so why not have the season starting in September?? When everyone's online?

Of course people are going to say, "BUT THE SEASON'S ALREADY STARTED, WE CAN'T CHANGE IT NOW"

But I think we should postpone the season until September so everyone's online and avaliable.

LOOK at the votes. People didn't even want the season to be earlier than September... WHO ACTUALLY LOOKED AT THAT? Or did people who decided to push the season earlier, just do it for themselves? So much for a community it seems. We have voiced our opinion a month ago about the season and when it should take place and if I'm correct, the majority verdict (7) is the one used, not the vote with 4 people.

Inb4 I'm shouted at because I just want it for Arriba's gain, with me and Jonny missing a few weeks.

The fact is that it's not just Me and Jonny missing a few weeks, as for evidence, just look at the first round of games. A defwin already, that means that they couldn't even get 3 out of 7/8 players online to play 4v3. Where's the fun in that?

Also, take the hint that teams have wildcarded quite a few games and moved them into middle of August, now if there wasn't a two week limit I'm damn certain most teams would move it into September when everyone will be online.

1) deliberately or not, but you're misinterpreting the results of the poll.

2) there's no reason to think that it's the move to an earlier date that's causing the problems, I've already told you that with 20 teams and limited squad sizes there are going to be difficulties with playing all of the games on time.

So, no, if there's something that needs to be changed, it's the roster limit.

Also, the options in the poll are ridiculously biased and subjective, so automatically the results of the poll can't be taken seriously until they've been changed.

Just look at the amount of agrees compared to the ones not agreeing in this thread.

This is way too late to bring this up now deer. Although I agree with you, tonnes of planning has already gone into this and everyone had a months notice before hand

I honestly think the draft is to blame for this. If you're a captain who has just been given a list of names and to choose 7 of those names at random, you may choose people that are inactive or bad without you knowing. I think that there should be a miniature bio of every player showing how active/good they are plus if there are any problems with them, so captains can choose based on that. This way, we don't get this happening.

Well can we make that one extra signing if this goes ahead that was planned when the season wss origionally being set to this date?

Tbh, I don't mind either way, whether the season is now or september.

Maybe for a premier league manager, but this is a league for an online flash game. You wouldn't be wanting to waste hours of your time looking into people for your club when you could be spending that time outside. Some people may have done, but that's them. I think it would just be easier to do what I said so as to cut down on errors.

So a select few people spend ages researching players so captains don't have to...?

hahahahhaha this is a joke right? When u moved the league till july, we(Sparta) said: that isnt ok for us since many people in our squad would be gone, but u were like: oh thats life, sorry.

Now when your players arent turning up, it's suddenly megaimportant to move the league...

It doesn't realy take 'hours' to scout players. Maybe an hour a day or so playing in rooms, trailling players etc. Tbf, captains should have a plan regarding who they want to sign pre draft etc. but I understand thats hard for the latter rounds when the more inactive players havent been picked.

And who goes outside these days? :D
