Reminder for the cup:

"Cup matches are 4v4 big easy with two 7 minute halves. During the group stage, draws are allowed."

Big easy means there is no 3 man defence rule. You organise matches yourself, so please remember to play on Big Easy.

A similar process to the 3-man defence rule appeals process will apply to the use of macros. If an opposition team are caught using a macro then they will face a def-loss and the player using it will be suspended

Roster size limits have now been increased to 10. This is optional and shouldn't be used as a form of player hoarding. Please try to avoid signing that many players unless you absolutely must.

Retirement time limits have been removed. The team that the player retires from will now have first option to sign the retired player should they come out of retirement.

Cut limits have been removed. All teams now have unlimited cuts.

The playoffs have been removed. The bottom 2 teams from division 1 will be relegated, the top 2 teams from division 2 will be promoted.

Playoffs should return in season 5. I'm presuming the reason they are cancelled are because of the Deadly Monkees situation?

Otherwise I agree.

Why are two teams from division 1 still being relegated if DM have been removed? Are three being promoted from division 2?

Because nothing's finalised and we don't want shitstorms about season 5 before we've even finished season 4.

Rulebook updated.

We have gone through the rulebook and cleaned it up by removing any out of date stuff and separating it into numbered sections making it much easier to navigate through.

On top of this we have also made a couple of changes that both captains and players should be aware of:

  • We want to keep a replay of every game and therefore we have made it a requirement for a game to be recorded if the score is to be acknowledged.

1.24 A replay of every game must be supplied for the result to count. Failure to supply a replay will result in the match being replayed.

  • The point in which a cut, sign or trade is complete has now been fully defined as:

When a sign has been fully completed with the captain's and player's agreements; when a cut has been fully completed with the captain's agreement; when a trade has been fully completed with both captains' agreement.

  • The deadline for a cut, sign or trade on match days has been moved to 7pm.

6.7 On match days a sign or trade must be finalised before 19:00 GMT for the player to be eligible for that night's games.

These rules will come into effect from tomorrow's games onwards.
