You get first choice on trade offers but when are you ever going to make an offer that caths would consider lmao?

Its absolutely pointless.

If caths release someone, it's up to the player to decide where they want to go. They can't be forced to go the first option team.

It won't work on trades either because cathletico aren't going to trade with you if you don't have something decent to offer in return.
