IMO, longer bans for more offences caused.

Let's say rick is banned from chat for spamming in caps for an hour. He is then banned again the next day for the same reason for an hour and the day after, banned again for an hour for spamming, he obviously isn't learning to curve his behaviour due to the measly punishment. Let's have some guidelines:

3 bans a week, 1 day ban

5 bans in a week, 4 day ban

10 bans in a month, 1 week ban


Should help curve the behaviour.

rolex banned for constantly typing in text speak. I'll unban in an hour.

Rolex unbanned started typing in text speak again with Mick, both were kicked as a warning. Rolex called me a "dum cunt" and told me to "fuk off". So he's now banned till tomorrow.

Mick is a sheep with rolex, if rolex is on chat and typing in text speak so is Mick. Without rolex, Mick isn't as bad.

I doubt it, it's a bug if it happens like 2/3/4 times..looks like he just spammed log in/out

The bug is the one where they disconnect in a huge block with no reconnecting messages, I'm sure that's just spam logging in/out.
