Series:

10/10 stars:
Dexter (smart serial killer, great characters)
Game of Thrones (everyone who didn't watch yet should start now)
Narcos (really nice series about Pablo Escobar, much action, never boring, main character really great and based on a true story)
Prison Break (first season is epic)

fewer stars but also nice:
Suits (advocate serie, interesting characters)
House of Cards (policy series, Kevin Spacey does an excellent job)
Lost (persons of a plane crash land on an island, great characters, later inexplicable things, always exciting what will happen next)

10\10 The Originals (about the first and strongest vampier family who fights haters :twisted: ) (must watch The Vampier Diaries first 4 season's to understand better)
10\10 The Vampier Diaries (Basiclly The Originals is a continue serie of The vampier Diaries only less original family activity)
9\10 Lie to Me (a Group of people who can detect any lie and helps the FBI, really interesting)
9\10 The Walking Dead (dont think that anyone doesnt know this series so.. :P )

avoiding the obvious, breaking bad, game of thrones etc

lost - my favourite tv show of all time, it'll hit you in the FEELS
friday night lights - basically one of the main characters is put in charge of this high school american football team, hoping to turn their bad form around. there is gripping football scenes... even if you're not a fan you'll love it. but whats great about this show is that it focuses too about the city and the people this football team is from.
twin peaks - it's unique, just watch it
