Evolving of the Map

In this last season we played this slightly adjusted map (bit wider, slightly bigger goals, 3def line).
Now we'd like to hear feedback for it.

Did you enjoy playing this map?
Should we continue playing this map, or maybe add some adjustments?

Should we discard this map completely, and if so - go back to default maps like big or big easy? - or create something different?

What are your ideas?

In my opinion the basic physics of the ball and players shouldn't really be altered (speed, responsivness,...)

i didnt even notice that the map was bigger except the goal. I would make it bigger with same size of the goal

I would adjust a little bit the speed of the players + the power of the shot.
As kojo also mentioned, make the field bigger.

Before taking an action for radical changes to map (which for me means player/ball/speed physic changes), I recommend discussing the optimal variant of changes to the "classic" gameplay. If there is way to make the field entertaining enough without “destroying” the identity of FM and haxball original physics, then that would be the best way out. If there are no ideas left to this at some point, then I suppose the bigger changes would be needed if u want to attach new players.

To make it easier for you, open two browser tabs of haxball rooms (big and feedme map) on 1.25 zoom so u can see the whole maps, and then compare.

I suggest keeping the same goal size(which I believe is big enough now for 3 defenders, any bigger would be insane) but make another a bit more sensitive expand of the field with the idea of creating more passing freedom.
