Main Rules
1v1
Classic is the default map but if the two players agree, they can select what they wish.

3 day windows to play matches in
Should one or both players go AWOL and the match isn't completed, deflosses galore! I've got something lined up if both players go walkabout, not a problem.

Both players to host 4 minute halves, making each match 8 minutes long. Ensure there is no goal limit set.

In the event of a tie following the second half, overtime will start and sudden death begins. If both players would rather have a replay or run sudden death on another host, they can agree to it pre-match. Any agreements in this area should be PMed to me pre-match by both players.

Both players will host a lagtest first, should either host offer unsatisfactory lag, a neutral host can be sought instead. Both players can agree to a different length match if they wish. I'm not making it a requirement, but I'd advice that the host has a handicap of 40.

In the event of any complaint/issues/AWOL opponents, contact me by PM. Should any issues arise late on the third day, I'd be willing to offer up a fourth day to play the tie, but that's all discretionary (bringeth the circlejerk).

Hopefully that's all covered. In the spirit of three day windows, I'm giving until 6pm on Monday for people to pop their name down in this thread. All being well, I'll generate the bracket sometime between then and 8pm and you'll have a deadline of 8pm Thursday to get the first games played.

So yes, please post below and hopefully we'll get some decent numbers going!

I'd love to play, but in 1x1 the ping is very important. It's almost impossible to win, if you're even slightly lagging. Unless the opponent is an absolute noob, ofc.

So I'd say that even when playing on a neutral host, the ping should be more or less the same for both players. Am I right or what?

Indeedy. I'm just wary of fixing a handicap and someone hiding behind it if they host a hideous ping, I'm hoping common sense will come into play and the players can sort the handicap between them.

Registration closed, we have a lovely rounded 16 players so no need for play in games or any of that nonsense. I'll get the draw sorted now.
