Ok I'll bite. He created a game that you've spent years of your life playing. He has just finished creating a html5 version after coding for probably way over a year and is still actively working on it now. Don't be so rude and ungrateful.

Do you remember the years of ZERO major updates between 2012 and 2017? i think i'm entitled to criticize him when he literally neglected his game for so long and only decides to actually do something when he isn't making as much AD revenue as he used too.

So he has to spend his entire life working on haxball now? There is no obligation for him to do anything on hax. His latest updates have been great and I really appreciate them.

Unless you are paying his wages then you can't tell him what he should be spending his time working on. He is a human being too, maybe you forget that. He is not a slave to entitled players of his games.

The sense of entitlement is unreal :fp:

If not wanting the game to die makes me entitled then so be it.

No it doesn't. I also don't want the game to die.

Calling him a useless fuck and thinking he somehow owes you to keep working on haxball is what makes you entitled.

My point still stands, in these 8 years since release he could have definietly found a buyer for this game who would have developed haxball far beyond the state of which the game is in now, instead we now see a game which has lost 1000s of players due to a lack of updates and i don't even know if the damage can be repaired at this point.

That's just natural I'm afraid. I don't think there are many games being actively developed 8 years after release, even those funded by multimillion pound companies. The fact that basro is working on hax now is great and we should be grateful for that.

Why should he continue working on the game if everyone had the same attitude as you? You're only encouraging him to stop working on haxball.

Gotta agree with socrates here; he isn't forced to do any of these updates or even stay with the game, but he still does. He doesn't gain much from it, but he still does it for the community.

In conclusion we don't have the right to critique his work rate.

Town of Salem has 5-10k players and matches have been found every 3 minutes even in high elo. Server hosts will be a huge problem.
