Can ppl with fps problems in windows html5 haxball wanna test this "browser" I put together quickly with chromium embedded framework and winforms?

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1UE6HU ... ime-cl3exf

Extract the zip and run the Release/HaxWin.exe

I got no idea if it helps with anything since I don't really have fps problem. Just wanted to post this quick before I leave for holiday. Ill be back around new years. Please report if its any better/worse/same.

Looks good, smoother than on normal chrome for me (on an older computer). Is there a way to install Chrome addons somehow? Or could you allow custom css or something? Want to hide/remove those ads. Also, it doesn't store settings (nick, ingame settings) for me, would be nice to add that feature.

i would say that it's looking good too, smoother than every browser, but the main problem i could say is that i cant find where u can join rooms with links.

Another HaxBall HTML5 alternative to the normal browsers and salamini's HaxWin:

How to run:

Windows: unzip and run haxball-html5.exe
Linux (thanks to saviola_GK):
Code: Select all
unzip haxball-html5-linux-x64.zip
cd haxball-html5-linux-x64
chmod +x haxball-html5
./haxball-html5

Changelog:
* 0.1.0 - basic version
* 0.2.0 - added possibility to join rooms by putting room links

Linux: hope those guys are smart enough to figure out how to run it by themselves (i'm not :fp: )

This version is without the possibility to enter room links but it could be added later.

Thanks for sharing. On Linux, you just have to extract and make the haxball-html5 file executable and then run it:

Code: Select all
unzip haxball-html5-linux-x64.zip
cd haxball-html5-linux-x64
chmod +x haxball-html5
./haxball-html5

Nice. Have not had the possibility to try it out yet. Did you make it? Is it open source? Which engine is it using? I can contribute in development if its open source. Cool that it is cross platform.

Well yes, I built it with Electron (https://electronjs.org/). It uses Chromium and Node.js.
Cool, repository is here: https://gitlab.com/fabri4/electron-haxball-html5 (you must be logged-in to see it) - feel free to try it, I added basic info to Project's wiki page but if you'll have some questions - just ask.

Btw, I updated client to new version - added possibility to join rooms by putting room links. Download links are the same as in my previous post.

Reverse setting is now enabled by default if needed, no need to do it manually anymore.
