Back Passes?

Talk about haxball in here, maps, sides, players, tactics, anything related to the game.

Position doesn't really matter when it comes to back passes, all you need to be aware of is where your attacking opponents are, if they are too close to your defender and they won't have much time on the ball without being pressed then don't try it, but if they look like they may have a decent second to think about where the pass needs to go then back passing from anywhere on the pitch is very useful.

I love backpasses, aslong as they're not direct passes/long back passes. short passes that are bounced on the wall by the attacker to def are sexy and they stretch the game and give more opportunities to attack rather than the boring wall-fights and cross+goals. + it keeps possesion and if you have possesion you control the game.

What kind of a question is this. Back passes are essential, like Ghost said.

Backpassing to your GK through a double bounce in the defensive corner, while blocking the opposing winger/forward is just as good as a back pass when you're attacking against a bussing team.

Back passes work everywhere, you just have to be in the right place and the right time.

Probably already been said but it really, really depends on who you've got in your team.

As a forward, it's useful to know that I can pass back to a player safe in the knowledge that, assuming my pass is decent, they'll probably be able to redistribute the ball well. Then again, there are times when you're playing with weaker players who don't have the requisite touch, awareness and instinct to deal with them, and it looks like you've made a dodgy pass. Basically it's a judgement call on a match-by-match basis.

Back passes are the good if the attackers are RS and GOKU and the defender is Cookies.

Back passes are bad if the defender is Ghost. Unless you want to see some lulz.

Back passes are just passes and as anything, depends on the situation for it to be good or bad.

No, unless the pass is bad or the position of gk is bad or there is lag or the gk is rusty or the gk doesn't ask or expect the pass or the gk is near his own goal or the pass isn't a pass to gk but a shot at the gk or th gk doesn't think before he recieves the ball or the gk is just unlucky, there is no possibility at all of a momo.gif

Well first of all, are we speaking 3 v 3 or 4 v 4? O.o
I dont really know anyone who uses backpasses in 3 v 3 around there own area, but offensively yes, I myself require all 3 players to attack with the GK supporting the attacker in the corner, and the other attacker in the center awaiting a pass.

3 v 3 is just like 4 v 4 offensively, and actually almost defensively too.
Now of course there's tons of differences between the two in that space is limited in 4 v 4 and that you have a gk so of-course skill level needs to be much higher - However the principle of backpasses is the same :-) !

This was made for 3v3 back when a time where Blazing was scoring og's past every keeper claiming it was a pass. Good times.

Probably should have put a date on the poll. People still voting like a year after it was created.

donny pls, tbh it's the same in 3v3, just u gotta be more careful if u're the GK :)
and i dunno about blazing passes but i do them and if GK is well positioned they shouldnt get in...(anyway u gotta have caution and dont pass them from too near because lag can kill u :D)
